Ms. Jenny

Dapc Co-artistic Director and Instructor

Ms. Jenny has extensively trained in hip hop, jazz, ballet, tap, modern, jazz funk, Irish Step Dance, and contemporary. While in high school she was a member of the State Champion Collinsville High School Dance Team. She was on her studio’s competition team and began choreographing for the dance team and her home studio. Ms. Jenny attended Missouri State University and graduated with a degree in Communication and a Dance minor.

While at MSU, she performed in faculty choreographed dance concerts in addition to performing and choreographing for student choreographed dance concerts. She was selected to attend and perform in the American College Dance Festival (ACDF) in Natchitoches, LA and served as a captain for the Diamond Girls Dance Team.

Post-graduation, she joined Ashleyliane Dance Company (ADC) where she has performed on various stages across Missouri and Illinois as well as California over the years and has choreographed for multiple ADC shows. From 2020-2021, she was accepted into the Broadway Dance Center NYC (BDC) online training programs where she trained with world-class instructors and mentors. She continues to train there and across St. Louis.

Ms. Jenny and Jessy’s choreography has been seen across the state including MADCO’s Dare to Dance, Resilience’s SEEN, Big Muddy Dance Fest and Consuming Kinetics Dance Company’s spring concert.

Recently, Ms. Jenny and Jessy choreographed a commercial for Microsoft with Ms. Jenny and multiple Dance Art dancers performing in the commercial. This commercial won the Gold Addy and a special Performance award at the 2024 St. Louis American Advertising Awards. Ms. Jenny has won multiple choreography awards and loves choreographing, training, and working with the dancers at Dance Art Dance Studio.

Favorite Dance Art memory:

winning Elite Dance Cup Nationals in 2019 with Dance Art for "Calm Panic". I'll always love that dance and those girls!
